   CAP 100 IN-LINE SERIES CENTRAL AIR PURIFIERS

CAP100U The CAP100 inline filtration systems provide homeowners with a significantly higher level of particulate filtration than standard furnace filters or electrostatic filters, at an economical cost. These high-performance, two-stage filtration systems feature excellent dirt-holding capacity for long filter life, and low static resistance (0.12" @ 1,200 cfm) to minimize the load on the HVAC blower. With a rated efficiency of up to 97% at 6 microns, the CAP100U is designed to capture fine particles as small as one micron in size that pass right through furnace filters, such as fine dirt and dust, animal hair and dander, soot, and pollens.

• White powder-coated cabinet is attractive and durable, and resists marring or corrosion. Solid rivet fasteners ensure strong, leak-tight construction. Dimensions: 25"W x 20 1/4"H x 9 1/6"D.
• The filter access door can be "flipped" upside-down to accommodate installations in either right or left-handed returns.
• A convenient latch provides fast and easy access to both filters with no tools required.
• A throwaway filter captures larger dirt, dust, and debris, to extend the life of the more expensive final filter, reducing filter replacement costs. Most brands only provide one filter.
• The pleated cartridge filter is almost 100% efficient for capturing particles and pollens as small as 8 microns, captures particles as small as one micron, and features a low pressure drop and holds 200 grams of dirt.

• The gaskets on the frame will wear and leak over time. The 5" final filters are made with a double top and bottom gasket to prevent particulate bypass and ensure new, leak-proof gaskets with every filter change.

• CAP100U can be upgraded with a UVGI lamp module or a UVGI "Plus" Ozone lamp, UV resistant filter and unit door with cut-out.

CAP100-UVP Model The CAP100-UVP model combines all of the particulate filtration and design features of the CAP100 model with our UV Plus (UV and photolysis) technologies for controlling bacteria, viruses, and other microbes, as well as odors. The extra-long UV Plus lamp is located in a compartment between the two filters. Numerous build-in safety features ensure that installers or homeowners can not be directly exposed to the lamps. Dimensions: 25"W x 20 1/4"H x 9 1/6"D.

• The lamp ballast and other electrical components and wires are sealed into a separate compartment to keep them out of the air stream and protected from UV or ozone exposure.

• The CAP100-UV and CAP100-UVP use the same 1" prefilter and 5" pleated cartridge as the CAP100.

• The extra-long high output UV Plus lamp is located between the prefilter and the final filter to keep the lamp clean and maximize "kill" of microbial pollutants trapped on the filter. A model with an ozone-free lamp is also available (CAP100UV).

• This high-gloss metal reflector magnifies the UV energy produced by the lamp and and continuously bathes organisms trapped on the "dirty" inlet side of the final filter with a high concentration of UVGI and ozone.

• An electrical interlock switch instantly kills power to the lamp whenever the filter access door is opened to prevent the possibility of direct exposure to an energized lamp. The CAP100-UV and CAP100-UVP are ETL listed and tested in accordance with stringent UL standards for electrical safety and ozone output.

• The homeowner or service technician can safely check lamp by looking through this convenient view port.

• CAP 100 Systems come with a 5 year warranty on materials and workmanship of cabinet. 1 year warranty on electrical components.
