Commonly referred to as "whole house systems", LakeAir in-duct units are ideal for residential forced air systems. Models LAD-1814 and LAD-2214 are designed to complement both newer high efficiency systems as well as existing equipment. Easily mounted in a variety of systems, LAD units operate on less power than a 60 watt light bulb and provide protection for costly equipment and, more importantly, your breathing air. The low pressure drop through the filter means less airflow reduction than most media filters with higher efficiency and therefore, better airflow through your home, eliminating hot / cold spots. - Grounding strap on electronic filtering cell provides safety override back-up for additional protection!
- Durable Electronic filter cell is up to 97% efficient on particulate as small as 0.01 microns in size and can be washed and reused - no hard to find, expensive replacements!
- Low pressure drop or airflow resistance means less strain on your system fan and more even distribution of conditioned air.
- Carbon afterfilter, included with all electronic units, will remove odors from purified air for up to 12 months.
- LAD-1814 and LAD-1814x rated for up to 1,400 cfm or 3 cooling ton systems.
- LAD-2214 and LAD-2214x rated for up to 2,100 cfm or 5 cooling ton systems.
